GIS and Remote Sensing Specialist

Guido started working with GIS in 2012 for a capstone project in an EU-financed course about Local Development.

Supports disaster mapping activities since 2017 through the interpretation of satellite images via GIS and remote sensing applications for the Copernicus Rapid Mapping project.

Drafting of disaster mapping's best practices (focusing on their implementation in a web framework) and support in web mapping applications.

Currently pursuing a Master's degree in "Geography and Territorial Sciences" and working on a final thesis project on Distance Learning in Remote Sensing. Holds a bachelor’s degree in Environmental Biology.
