Giuseppe Mansueto

GIS and Remote Sensing Specialist

Giuseppe is specialized in evaluation and management of natural risks (landslides, floods, seismic, volcanoes), environmental impacts assessment of human activities, territorial planning and all those issues related to the environmental safety.

He has developed skills in interpretation, processing, and classification of aerial and satellite imagery (both active and passive sensors) and production of thematic maps by means of GIS software.

He is currently supporting EO services of Copernicus EMS Rapid Mapping and Copernicus Risk and Recovery Mapping projects in post-disaster early impact analysis, thematic disaster-related maps production and supplementary geomatics research activities.

Giuseppe Mansueto holds a Master’s degree in Territorial and Environmental Engineering (Politecnico di Torino, 2019) with a final project on the development of Digital Surface Models (DSM) from VHR satellite stereo pairs over the city of Turin.
