ITHACA @ the 1st End-User workshop of the RECONASS project
ITHACA has been invited to join the End-User group of the EU co-funded RECONASS FP7 project, as an organization involved in emergency mapping activities.
ITHACA therefore participated to the 1st End-User workshop organized by the German Federal Agency for Technical Relief (THW), which was held in Berlin on 24-25 March 2014.
RECONASS aims to develop a monitoring system for constructed facilities that will provide a near real time, reliable, and continuously updated assessment of the monitored facilities structural conditions after a natural or manmade disaster (see attached PDF for further details).
ITHACA's main interest in the project is in the synergistic damage assessment based on data acquired by Air and Space borne platforms, including UAVs.
